It's 2026!

Happy New Year, even though it's been almost a month! Yes, that wasn't the plan, but that's how it turned out. :)

Let's start with the difficult stuff and get it over with: why did I miss my New Year's greeting and a few planned end-of-year posts?

I had a migraine at Christmas. It lasted much longer than usual, and even a week and a half later, I still couldn't see well enough to sit at the computer and paint. Unfortunately, even after a month, I'm still feeling the effects, and I'm still trying to figure out the causes, but that's life, and life and creativity must go on. Let's hope for the best. :)

But back to the topic! How was last year?

Busy, eventful, exciting!

I managed to expand my collection of board game stickers. This was one of my most challenging and interesting personal projects. Last year, this product line started with a simple Paleo, which was followed by Parfum on January 1st, and then eight more throughout the year. The most successful, as expected, was Dune Imperium, which will be reprinted soon!

It was a big challenge for me to make these components so that they would look good not only on the monitor but also in reality and so that they could be used on the table. There are so many little details to pay attention to that I didn't even think about when I made the first sets. It took a few test runs and printing adjustments, but I'm happy to report that everything is going smoothly now. So much so that Northgard and Red Cathedral will be out soon!

I can't complain about the illustrations either.

I continued with my usual projects. A lot of TCG illustrations for Hungarian games, Netrunner avatars, and lots of New Republic ships for Armada are coming. But there are also some new additions to the lineup, for example, for the Game of Thrones card game.

As for miniatures, oh dear... I painted miniatures, mainly Flames of War minis, for other people's tables, but I didn't manage to paint at least as many of my own miniatures as I bought. This year, I can field 24 new miniatures when it comes to Legion. Meanwhile, a few Kickstarters have arrived and StarCraft is just around the corner...

I'll improve the ratio this year! :)

Last year was a busy year, and this year will be no less so. But that's okay, as long as I enjoy creating! :)

Happy 2026 to everyone!
