Who would have thought that in 2026 we’d get an expansion for the retro world of HKK? New cards, old rules. It’s such a joy to see cards with more than two spell points flying around again, and I can finally understand what a card actually does! I can feel young once more! :D
The first Hatalom Kártyái expansion of the year arrives this weekend. Its title will be Kassandra’s Dream. Huge congratulations to Gergely Nagy for the box illustration! It’s definitely worth checking out Kassandra in full art as well.

As I mentioned, this expansion is aimed at old‑school players. Every card has values and abilities designed so they make sense and are playable alongside cards from the 2000s. These days HKK is a very fast game — in two turns and with one and a half spell points the whole back‑and‑forth is over. Back then you could easily build up your mana for 5‑point ents, or even summon a 23‑point ancient dragon onto the table. The new expansion’s cards fit perfectly into old collections.
For me personally, the galetkis are HKK, but sadly such heresy doesn’t appear in this expansion — though I’m still hopeful. :D
Here are the six cards that feature my artwork.
And here they are in full size:
You can find the rest of the cards here: Lapkereső.
What do you think of the new retro? :)
